MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay (AP) — Marcelo Bielsa was confirmed as the new Uruguay coach on Monday to the end of the 2026 World Cup.The Uruguayan Football Association celebrated the arrival of 67-year-old Bielsa with a video and a series of memes mimicking the Argentine’s renown as a great tactitian.“Our public demands gameplay and emotions. The time has arrived,” the association said on Twitter.Bielsa’s first matches are likely in June, when Uruguay is scheduled to play friendlies against Nicaragua and Cuba. South American World Cup qualifying will begin in September.Bielsa coached Argentina from 1998-2004. His team was eliminated at the group stage of the 2002 World Cup and won the gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics. WESTMINSTER, Colo. (KDVR) -- Miller moth migration is underway in Colorado. Every year at about this time, the moths migrate from the plains to the mountains looking for food.The moths are harmless, and experts say they are generally in the metro for about three weeks."They're everywhere and they drive me insane," said Lisa Douglass, a Colorado resident. While the moths can be annoying to some people, experts say they serve an important role. (AP) — Three people were killed and two police officers were among at least seven people injured Monday when an 18-year-old opened fire in a northwestern New Mexico community before law enforcement fatally shot the suspect, authorities said. The shootings occurred around 11 a.m. in Farmington, a city of about 50,000 people near the Utah state line that is a supply line and bedroom community to the region’s oil and natural gas industry.Officers responding to several calls about a shooting found “a chaotic scene” where a man was firing at people on a residential street, Farmington Police Deputy Chief Baric Crum said during a news conference. CRAIG, Colo. (KDVR) — Investigators believe a threat that shut down a Colorado school on Monday was intended for a school in North Carolina.Other schools with the same acronym as Craig Middle School — CMS — may have received similar alerts, according to a letter from Jill Hafey, Moffat County School District superintendent. More than 1,000 schools may have been affected by the threat, she said. While officials in Moffat County believe Craig Middle to be safe, they will implement extra security measures nonetheless."Moffat County school and law enforcement are confident that there is no threat to our students and staff attending our schools. BRUSH, Colo. (KDVR) — On Wednesday, Fred David and Beth Dirkes sat down for dinner. Little did they know they would have to rush to the basement as an EF1 tornado headed toward their home in Brush. "I looked and wondered was that dirt or smoke?" Dirkes said. She said just moments later the tornado siren went off and the couple, both 86 years old, rushed to the basement and waited out the storm. "You could hear stuff flying around," David said. When the storm finally settled and moved on, the couple went upstairs to find a portion of their roof missing, along with several windows broken and items blown all over their property. ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — Adams County said 28 roads were still shut down on Monday after days of rain caused flooding and damage. They are warning people not to go around the barricades. Many roads are still covered with water and others have been heavily damaged or washed out.FOX31 got a close look at one of those washed-out roads at East 48th Avenue and Strasburg Road. The road was under 4 feet of water at one time after the rains moved through last week. The road is in a rural area north of Strasburg. FOX31 was told farmers reported up to 6 inches of rain falling in the area in a short period of time.
